Why is it so important?
In the last five years, kids have become one of the fastest growing Internet audiences. Simultaneously, new data privacy laws (COPPA, GDPR) have put in place strict new technology requirements for engaging with kids on digital. These trends caught content owners, brands and advertisers by surprise. The industry had neither proper tools nor data on under 13’s audience media habits and preferences to build a safe, effective communication with kids on digital.
As our company is a thought leader and implementer of safe kids’ digital engagement globally, we are continually asked by our clients for advice and guidance. Our team are experts on kid-safety and compliance; we are constantly running knowledge share sessions, bringing high standards and sense of responsibility to the kids’ advertising industry.
Due to limited expertise in market and lack of high quality data on kids’ digital habits and preferences in the region, we launched the TotallyAwesome Annual Kids Digital Insights in 2015. A proprietary study, providing a comprehensive insights to media consumption habits, spending patterns and influence of kids aged 6 – 14 across 7 APAC markets.
